SHORT BIO — 40 WORDS
Joints N' Oranges is a LoFi and indie pop project from Panvel, on the edge of Mumbai. Written and produced in one bedroom studio, its records trade polish for weather: tape warmth, soft drums, and monsoon somewhere in the background.
LONG BIO
Joints N' Oranges (JNO) makes music that sounds like the hour after the rain stops — LoFi, indie pop and chill beats built from close-mic'd guitars, hushed vocals and drums that never quite step forward.
The project works mostly out of view. Alongside its own releases, JNO writes and produces for other artists, delivers ghost productions, and licenses instrumentals to film, television, advertising and games. New material is shared privately, one access code at a time, with the labels, supervisors and artists it was made for.
Everything is recorded, produced and mixed in the same room in Panvel: a desk, two monitors, a window onto the city, and a ginger Persian cat who sleeps through all of it.
